NEET Exam
NEET, National Eligibility cum entrance test, is a national-level exam conducted for medical aspirants. NEET exam will conducts by national testing agency. It is also known as the All India pre-medical test ( AIPMT). The medical aspirants who wants to get admission in UG medical courses, like BAMS, BDS, BHMS, BUMS, or other nursing programmes in India and abroad, are need to give NEET exam and qualify it.
NEET Exam Pattern
Candidates who want to start the NEET preparation should follow the latest exam pattern. Following the NEET exam pattern helps students to cover all essential topics, according to the exam marks and duration and finish it properly on this exam date.
- The exam will conducts in an offline mode
- There are MCQ questions that will asked in this paper
- The exam duration is 3 hours and 20 minutes, and PwBD candidates will get 1 hour and 5 minutes extra
- There are two sections in NEET exam, section 1 and section 2. There are 35 questions asked in section 1, and 15 questions are asked in section 2. Candidates should attempt any 10 questions out of 15 in section 2
- In the NEET 2025 Exam, questions will be asked from chemistry, physics, botany, and zoology
- This exam will organized in 13 different languages, Hindi, English, and other regional languages
- On every correct answer, the candidates will get 4 marks, and 1 mark will deducted on every wrong answer. The questions that are not attempted carry no marks

NEET Exam Eligibility
Candidates are suggested to fulfil the NEET exam eligibility criteria to become eligible for it. The important requirements consist of nationality, age, educational background, and subjects. Here are the complete eligibility criteria that need to be meet
- Nationality: The Candidate must be Indian, OCIs, NRIs, PIOs, or foreign nationals
- Special provision given to UTs of J &K & Ladakh: Candidates hail from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are eligible for NEET under a 15% quota
- Educational requirements: The candidate must be 12th passed
- Age limit: The age of the candidate must be 17 years old minimum. There is no maximum age limit.
- Subjects: The candidate must be passed their 12th standard with compulsory subjects like chemistry, physics, biology/biotechnology and English
- Marks: Candidate must score the minimum 50% marks in 12th standard with all compulsory subjects. The candidate of reserved categories will get a 10% relaxation as government norms.
