CTET Exam
CTET is the Central Teacher eligibility test conducts by CBSE. It is the national level entrance test that is conducts annually to select the deserving candidates on teacher posts. CTET exam will conducts for candidates,who wants to get teachers jobs in various CBSE schools such as NVS, KVS, etc.
There are two exams conducted in CTET 2025, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is conducted for those who are applying for the Primary teacher posts for Class 1 -5. The Paper 2 will conducts for candidates who are apply for elementary teacher posts for Class 6 -8). CTET Exam Eligibility
Candidates should fulfill the CTET exam eligibility criteria given below to become eligible for it. It consists of the age limit and educational qualification for Paper 1 and Paper 2
Educational Qualification
Here are the educational qualifications that candidates should meet according to the CTET 2025 paper for which they apply
For paper 1
- The candidate must be passed the senior secondary exam with at least 50% marks and also clear the final year exam for 2 year elementary education diploma or
- Candidate must be passed their senior secondary exam with at least 50% marks and clear the final year exam in 4 years of Bachelor of Elementary Education or
- Candidate must be passed the senior secondary exam with at least 50% marks and cleared their final year exam of education diploma of 2 years Or
- Candidate must have a bachelor degree with a B.Ed
For paper 2
- candidate must have the graduation degree or appear in the final year exam for 2-year diploma in elementary education Or
- candidate must have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks and have cleared the final year B.Ed exams Or
- Candidate must have graduation degree with minimum 40% marks and cleared final year exams of B.Ed as per NCTE regulations Or
- Candidate must be passed their senior secondary exams with at least 50% marks and clear the 4-year course of Bachelor of Elementary Education or appear in the final year exam of this course Or
- The candidate must have the senior secondary certificate with 50% marks and have cleared the final exams of the B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed or B.A/B.Sc.Ed. or appear in it currently Or
- Candidate must have a graduation degree with 50% marks and clear the 1-year B.Ed program or appear In it
