CBSE Debunks Rumors of 2024 Exam Postponement
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has moved swiftly to dispel rumors circulating on social media regarding the postponement of the 2024 board examinations. Clarifying the situation, CBSE refuted a fake circular claiming that the exams had been rescheduled due to ongoing farmers’ protests.
“The following letter under circulation is FAKE and misleading. The board has not taken any such decision,” CBSE stated in an official post, cautioning against misinformation.
While addressing concerns arising from the farmers’ protests and potential transportation challenges, CBSE advised students in Delhi to plan their commute wisely and utilize metro services to ensure timely arrival at examination centers. The board commenced board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 from February 15 onwards.
