Age Limit for School Education Revised in Madhya Pradesh
Parents in Madhya Pradesh will now need to adhere to strict age criteria for admitting their children into Nursery, KG, and Class 1. The Education Department of Madhya Pradesh has introduced amendments to the age limits for admission, ensuring that children are enrolled at the appropriate age level.
According to the revised guidelines:
Nursery: Minimum age is 3 years, and the maximum age is 4 years 6 months
KG 1: Minimum age is 4 years, and the maximum age is 5 years 6 months
KG 2: Minimum age is 5 years, and the maximum age is 6 years 6 months
Class 1: Minimum age is 6 years, and the maximum age is 7 years 6 months
Any guardian attempting to enroll their child before the stipulated age may face legal consequences. Schools found admitting children below the prescribed age will also be subject to legal action.
