Eligibility Standards

Aspirants are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria of the specific university to get admission in Tax Law in India. If the student fails in assembly the eligibility criteria of the university, their application would be rejected. Here are the eligibility standards of Tax Law that applicants want to meet so that they will be held eligible for the same:

  • To be eligible for a diploma programme in Tax Law, applicants have to have passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 50%-60% marks.
  • To be eligible for a UG programme in Tax Law, the candidate needs to be qualified for the 10+2 exam or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or college. In addition, the candidate is needed to achieve at least 50%-60% combination marks in the qualifying examination.
  • To be eligible for a postgraduate programme in Tax Law, an aspirant is required to have completed an LLB or its equivalent degree. Candidates who have completed a 5-year-long integrated law course shall also be taken into consideration as eligible for admission to the PG Diploma or LL.M course in Tax Law. The candidate is required to achieve at least 50% to 60% marks in the qualifying exam.
